“Before joining RCIA, my husband and I were interested in getting our marriage recognized by the Catholic Church in addition to having our son baptized. "My longing for the Eucharist is what led me to Catholicism. The idea that I could receive the actual body and blood of Christ was powerful. As I went through the process of RCIA, the more I Iearned the more I fell in love with the faith. Learning about the history of the Catholic Church and the Sacraments made me realize how truly sacred, holy, and precious the Catholic faith is.
One of my favorite parts of RCIA is getting to go through this life-changing experience with a group of amazing people. We pray for and support one another for several months. We then get to watch one another receive the most blessed Sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation. So awesome!
I am so glad I finally listened to God's calling and went through RCIA. It was honestly one of the best decisions! I know it was God's calling because the very Sacrament that drew me in, I now get to teach! (FYI...Holli begins teaching 2nd Grade at OLQH School in the fall.)
